This course aims to provide an overview of key concepts within the field of civil and environmental engineering, specifically focusing on water treatment. Upon successful completion of this course, students will showcase proficiency in comprehending the fundamental principles governing the physical, chemical, and biological processes employed in water treatment. Furthermore, they will have the capability to develop a process design for municipal water treatment systems.

About Tutor
Engr. Lois has over 8 years of experience in civil/environmental engineering. She is licensed by COREN. Her areas of expertise include water and wastewater treatment system design, storm water systems modeling and design, water distribution system modeling, and WASH solutions. She holds an undergraduate degree in environmental engineering from Swansea University, United Kingdom and a masters degree in environmental engineering from the Newcastle University, United Kingdom. She is currently in private practice at Pheman Peniel Consultants Ltd., and our WASH specialist in Lagos, Nigeria.
