Teens & SDGs Bootcamp 2024
Providing teens with the knowledge, skills, and tools to engage actively with the SDGs
Are you a passionate teenager looking to make a positive impact on the world? Are you eager to learn about the global challenges we face and how you can contribute to their solutions? Then you’re in the right place!
In this dynamic and empowering bootcamp, we will dive deep into the world of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and explore how teenagers like you can become agents of change. The SDGs are a set of 17 interconnected goals established by the United Nations to tackle pressing global issues, including poverty, climate change, education, gender equality, and more.
Throughout this 10 Weeks Boot Camp, participants will be provided with the knowledge, skills, and tools to engage actively with the SDGs and make a tangible difference in your community and beyond. You will have the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals, participate in hands-on activities, and learn from inspiring guest speakers who are leading the way in sustainable development.

How the virtual curriculum works
- The 10-week virtual program consists of both “live” synchronous activities (dialogue sessions on Zoom with your peers and facilitators) each week, as well as self-paced/asynchronous content (online, interactive modules, games, and quizzes).
- Over the course of the 10 weeks, you’ll learn about the SDGs, sustainability, and social innovation, collaborate with your global peers, and create our own solution –which you’ll record and present digitally to your peers and Africa infrastructure Foundation.
- Participation will require approximately 2-3 hours of your time each week. It is designed to fit around your school schedule. The live sessions will be recorded for later viewing.
- Please be advised that participation in the virtual curriculum is compulsory for all participants.
